Jason Klein, CFA
Director of Fixed IncomeJason is the Director of Fixed Income in the HBKS Asset Management Group and works out of the firm’s offices in Pittsburgh. He leads the HBKS investment and research efforts for the fixed income portion of client portfolios. Jason also contributes to the research and assessment of the global economy to assist in the formulation of the firm’s overall market and economic outlook and is a voting member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee.
Prior to joining HBKS in July 2022, Jason was a Senior Portfolio Manager at JKMilne Asset Management and at Standish Mellon Asset Management where he managed investment grade fixed income portfolios for institutional clients. Jason was also Chief Investment Officer in the Treasury Department at F.N.B. Corporation where he was responsible for managing the company’s securities portfolio as well as its wholesale funding position.
Jason holds an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and a B.S. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Pittsburgh.
