HBKS Wealth Advisors (HBKS) remains one of the nation’s largest CPA financial planners according to Accounting Today magazine’s ranking of CPA firms by assets under management (AUM). With more than $5.7 billion in AUM, HBKS ranked 11th out of 200 registered investment advisories (RIAs) in the magazine’s 17th annual Wealth Magnets study.
In characterizing the year for the firms it reviewed, the magazine noted that the nation’s top RIAs “have already mapped out a safe way for clients to navigate an uncertain economy; they just need them to follow it.”

The magazine pointed out the year’s challenges as “volatile markets, rising inflation, the Federal Reserve ending a decades-long era of low interest rates, and a pervading sense of economic uncertainty.” It added that the “most successful CPA financial planners … have one primary message for clients: Stick to the plan.”
