Knight earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida, where he studied history and business management. While at UF, he served as a leader in the university’s marching band and was also an officer in Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary fraternity for college band members—experiences that shaped his collaborative approach and commitment to service.

Knight has lived in Stuart for 9 years and prior to that resided in Palm Harbor, FL. Community service is paramount- and so Knight is involved as a member of the board at his children’s school PTO and as a board member on the Martin County Community Land Trust.
