In extending his role beyond his responsibilities as an HBK CPAs & Consultants (HBK) accounting Principal, Keith Veres exemplifies HBK’s transition from accounting firm to holistic financial services provider. As director of HBK’s emerging Corporate Finance business along with his status as an investment banking representative of a third party investment banking broker dealer, he helps HBK clients looking to raise capital, acquire businesses or sell their business through a coordinated succession planning process. And in his separate capacity as an HBKS® Wealth Advisors representative, Keith provides the comprehensive and critical financial support owners and operators of small and mid-sized businesses require to grow their companies and secure their financial futures for themselves, their families and their businesses.
Upon earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Mercyhurst University, Keith began his career as an HBK CPA in 1991 in the Alliance, Ohio office, then moved to Fort Myers in 2002 to open the HBK office there. His clients include medical practices, construction companies, automobile dealerships, retail establishments, other closely-held business and high net worth individuals.
Keith relies on broad experience and knowledge to bring small and mid-sized businesses and their owners the services and support they require at the most critical times in their careers and the development of their businesses. “One of the most important decisions our clients ever make,” he notes, “is when and how they are going to realize the value from their closely held business interests. The decisions made during this stage can have the most significant impact on their financial futures and their ability to retire with dignity.”
Keith is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). Deeply involved in his community, he is active in the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association, Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, Cape Coral Community Foundation and Lee County Building Industry Association.
