Mark Matos serves as a senior financial advisor in the Naples, Florida office of HBKS® Wealth Advisors (HBKS®). He provides clients with comprehensive financial planning services and investment management strategies to affluent individuals and families. Along with having his own financial advisory clients, Mark works with Christopher Sorce in the Naples office.
Mark began his financial services career in 2006 as a portfolio manager with a large regional bank. In 2009, he began working at Global Wealth Consultants as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer and in 2016 Mark joined HBKS® after Global Wealth Consultants merged with the firm.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Computer Information Systems from the Florida Gulf Coast University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM, a Chartered Life Underwriter® and a Chartered Financial Consultant®. Mark received the FIVE STAR Award as a Wealth Manager1 in the Naples area in 2014, 2015, and 2016. He was also recognized as a 2017 “40 under 40” Gulfshore Business honoree.1
Mark is an active volunteer in Southwest Florida giving his time to the Rotary Club of Naples, the Naples Cat Alliance, Learn2Earn, Tumaini Fund USA, and Meals of Hope as well as speaking to teens about personal finance at Youth Haven in Naples, FL. He is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Naples, the Greater Naples Area Planned Giving Council, the Financial Planning Association of Southwest Florida, the FGCU Lutgert College of Business Department of Economics and Finance Executive Advisory Council, the Association of Fundraising Professionals Everglades Chapter, the Florida Gulf Coast University Alumni Association and the Florida Southwestern Alumni Association.
